'Selfless' Toms River Mom 'Would Do Anything For The People She Loves'

TOMS RIVER, NJ— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

Here at Patch we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.

What makes your Mom extra special?

My mom is one of the most selfless people I know. She is always there to be a shoulder to cry on and she’s always good for a great laugh when you need one. Not only did she do an amazing job raising her own three kids, but she’s also dedicated over ten years to loving and caring for another family as their nanny, which to me is amazing. There’s nothing my mom wouldn’t do for the people she loves, and to me that means everything.

Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?

I feel like she deserves the spotlight because she spends so much of her time making sure that everyone else is good that she doesn’t get many moments that are just about her. From always being behind the camera, making sure to capture every memory possible all the way to loving and caring for everyone in her life, and all things in between, she is one of the most wholesome people I know and I could never ask for a better person to be able to call my mom.
