See vintage cars
If you love checking out classic cars, the Brick Police Athletic League is hosting its 7th Annual Classic Car Show and Barbecue. classic car show and barbecue from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the PAL building, 60 Drum Point Road, Brick. There will be music, prizes and a raffle in addition to the food.

All owners of classic and collectible cars are invited to bring theirs to display (sign up in advance by emailing ineagency@gmail.com) for a donation of $10 per car. Call Ernie at 732-295-5584 for more information. The event raises funds for the PAL's activities for area children.

Celebrate Father's Day by taking Dad to the Mathis House for a five-course steak dinner. Reservations are required for dinner, which costs $75 per person, $20 for kids 12 and younger (5 years old or younger are free).
Dinner at the Victorian inn at 600 Main St. in Toms River is at 6 p.m. and includes live music, complimentary bourbon samples, cigars on the wraparound porch, tours of the Inn and a unique experience. Call 732-818-7580 for more information and details.
Take a nature walk at a cranberry bog
Cloverdale Farm County Park in Barnegat offers self-guided tours of the park, which has been continuously run as a cranberry farm since the late 1800s. "Besides cranberries, the bogs are home to wildflowers, birds, and a host of other flora and fauna," the Ocean County Parks Department notes. The 1.4-mile nature trail goes from the farm to undisturbed woodlands, and the tours are free. The park, at 34 Cloverdale Road, is open daily until 8 p.m.

The Ocean County Artists Guild's studio gallery is open 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sundays, featuring artwork by a variety of local artists. From paintings to sculpture to mosaics and more, the studio shows works by new members and hosts solo exhibits by artists. The gallery is at 22 Chesnut Ave., Island Heights. For more information about what artists are on display or how to become a member, check the Guild's website.
Kick up your bootheels at a Boardwalk dance party
Put on your best cowboy boots and head over to the Saturday Night Dance Party, Boots on The Boardwalk Edition, on the boardwalk in Seaside Heights. It's hosted by Captain Jack and is held from 7 p.m.-10 p.m. at the beach patrol building at the south end of the beach. It's free and open to all ages for fun and line dancing. Boots and Western attire are optional.
Have some laughs
Stand-up comedian Joey Kola takes the stage at Uncle Vinnie's Comedy Club in Point Pleasant Beach Saturday. Doors at the comedy club, 518 Arnold Ave., open at 7 p.m. and Kola is scheduled to take the stage at 9 p.m. Choose from Dinner and a Show (tickets are $53.95 and include a three-course meal) or Just the Show, which has a $15 minimum. BYOB.
