Toms River Mom Of 4 Makes The Most Of Each Day, Family Says

TOMS RIVER, NJ— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.

What makes your mom extra special?

My mom is a single mom of 4 children and three of them have special needs. She works hard every day getting everyone to school, running us to appointments and church groups, and doing homework with us until late at night. She puts on a smile every day and tries to make the most out of each day.

Why do you feel your mom deserves the spotlight?

My mom deserves the spotlight because she rarely takes time for herself. She thinks of everyone else first. She has had a hard year and pushed through it to make things better for us. My mom is a strong woman that we all look up to and love so much!
