Toms River Schools Announce Closure Due To Storm

The district announced an update to its weather decision for Wednesday, Feb. 12.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — The Toms River Regional School District has announced it will be closed on Wednesday, Feb. 12, following overnight snowfall.

The National Weather Service forecast predicted 4 to 6 inches of snow across most of Ocean County beginning Tuesday afternoon and continuing through 7 a.m. on Wednesday, and the storm delivered.

All afterschool activities, including games, rentals, and meetings using the schools also are canceled Wednesday, the district said.
