OCEAN COUNTY, NJ — Looking for something to do this weekend? Check out this list of goings-on in and around Ocean County.

Test your dog's agility
Have you ever watched a dog perform at a dog show, zipping through an obstacle course and thought, "my dog can do that"? Best Friends Dog Training in Brick is offering trial agility training sessions on Saturday starting at noon. Sessions are $20 each and will be limited to four dogs and their handlers for each session. For more information, email klaufenberg1@gmail.com.

The Lavallette Business Association is hosting the Kick Off to Summer Food Truck Festival from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday. There will be live bands, kids' activities and of course, food. Adult admission is $5 and kids get in free. The event is held on the bayfront at Philadelphia Avenue.

Celebrate blueberries

The summer-long Blueberry Summer Fest Saturday markets begin at Whitesbog Historic Village in Browns Mills. Every week the festival, which begins at 10 a.m. Saturday, includes live music, local blueberries, pies, jams, honey, chocolates, T-shirts and more. You can preorder online. The Whitesbog Historic Village is at 120 W Whites Bog Road, Browns Mills.

Get a history lesson in Lacey

The Lacey Historical Society is celebrating the town's 150th birthday and its grand reopening on Saturday at the Schoolhouse Museum, 126 South Main St. (Route 9, right behind Mrs. Walker’s Ice Cream). The open house is set to begin at 10 a.m. with guided complimentary tours until 1 p.m. No reservations are required. The museum will unveil new displays for the 150th anniversary. More information is available at the historical society's website.

Go boot-scootin' on the Boardwalk

Put on your best cowboy boots and head over to the Saturday Night Dance Party, Boots on The Boardwalk Edition, on the boardwalk in Seaside Heights. It's hosted by Captain Jack and is held from 7 p.m.-10 p.m. at the beach patrol building at the south end of the beach. It's free and open to all ages for fun and line dancing. Boots and Western attire are optional.

Take in a movie on the beach

Movies on the Beach is back in Seaside Heights this summer, and kicks off on Sunday evening with the 1975 hit "Jaws." Bring your beach chairs or a blanket and head to the Carteret Avenue beach. The movie begins at 8:30 p.m.
