Feed your spirit at Soulsational
The Soulsational festival, set for Saturday at Veterans Park in Bayville, features a range of activities and events that appeal to the soul, from free yoga lessons and meditation instruction to live music, local health and wellness businesses and practitioners, vendors selling handmade items, giveaways, a silent auction, and crafts and activities for the little ones, along with the typical fair food. The event is free and runs from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Veterans Park is on Forest Hills Parkway just east of Central Regional High School. Soulsational is sponsored and organized by Alternative Health Solutions of NJ and www.MichelleALeonard.com.

See vintage boats at Huddy Park festival
The Toms River Seaport Society's popular Summer Festival is set for 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturday at Huddy Park on Water Street in downtown Toms River. Vintage boats, a classic car raffle, entertainment by the Valhalla Pirates, model boat building for children, and merchant and craft vendors.

Check out live music all weekend
The Ocean County Carousel of Music Summer Concert series has three free concerts set for Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Ocean County Parks Department administration building at 1198 Bandon Road, Toms River. Friday listen to the Toms River Municipal Band. Saturday, check out the Lenny Davis Band, and on Sunday, it's Strictly '60s. The concerts, which start at 7 p.m., are sponsored by the Ocean County Board of Commissioners.
Dive into a health and wellness expo
Get inspired at the W.H.A.T. (Wellness, Health, Attitude, Technology) Health and Wellness Expo Saturday at Center Court of the Ocean County Mall in Toms River. The expo is from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. and includes guest speakers, a Macy’s fashion show, exhibitors and a chance to win prizes. The free event aims "to inspire the mind, body and soul in many different ways. It will center around the concept of creating more physical energy in your life and wellness in your personal health. Attendees will learn techniques to create balance and peace of mind."
Take a nature hike at Cattus Island Park
Cattus Island Park, at 1170 Cattus Island Blvd., Toms River, sits at the edge of Barnegat Bay and offers view into the beauty of the bay. Be sure to check out the Cooper Environmental Center, which is open 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The nature center was renovated after it was destroyed by Superstorm Sandy and has exhibits and hands-on and educational displays, a children's corner, and large collections of live reptiles and fish. The park also contains a beautiful Butterfly Garden where you can view native plants and pollinators.
