A great authentic Philly cheese steak requires a few things in my opinion starting with the bread. The bread must be soft but durable enough to sop up all that delicious juice from the meat and cheese. Cheese is easily my next ingredient of importance and it better be wiz. The steak has to be just rite as well and like I said before Empire Steak has nailed it.I love that they offer items other than cheese steak and I must say that their cajun fries are absolutely delicious and their servings are definitely shareable. I will definitely come back to try some of the other menu options.

She turned out to be the owner. She came outside because I had the dog, took my order, and then brought my what turned out to be a delicious tuna salad on a bagel with the works. Yael was our server and he not only brought us little extras all meal long but he was very helpful in assisting us with what to try and what sauce or side to pair it with. Desserts were sinfully delicious and, once again, homemade. Prices were very reasonable and the place is very clean and colorfully decorated. Highly recommended. We'll surely be back regularly.
