2 Prostitution Arrests In Wall, Police Report

Wall police released a weekly report of criminal activity in the area.

WALL, NJ — Police reported two arrests for prostitution in the township, in a weekly report of crime incidents in the township:

Following a suspicious person investigation on Feb. 22 at the Economy Inn on Routes 33/34, a Philadelphia woman, 39, was arrested by Patrolman James Yannazzone. She was charged with engaging in prostitution, possession of crack cocaine, possession of heroin, possession of lorazepam, and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released on a summons.

On Feb. 21, after a motor vehicle stop on Route 35, Patrolman James Yannazzone arrested a Tinton Falls woman, 41. She was charged with loitering for the purpose of engaging in prostitution, possession of crack cocaine, and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released on a summons.

Other arrests reported include:

  • Feb. 19: Patrolman Kevin Donegan arrested a Belmar man for driving while intoxicated after a motor vehicle stop on State Route 34. He was released in accordance with John’s Law.
  • Feb. 19: Following a business check at the Budget Inn on State Route 35, Patrolman Tyler Martin arrested a Manahawkin man, 27, for an active warrant for his arrest out of Little Egg Harbor. He was released after posting bail.
  • Feb. 20: Patrolman Trent Powers arrested a Brick woman, 45, for having an active warrant for her arrest out of Brick Township following a suspicious vehicle check near the Garden State Parkway. She was taken to the Brick Township Police Department.
  • Feb. 23: Patrolman Tyler Martin arrested a Tuckerton man, 45, for driving while intoxicated after a motor vehicle stop on Route 34. He was released in accordance with John’s Law.
  • Feb. 24: While investigating a motor vehicle accident on Belmar Boulevard, Patrolman Trent Powers arrested a Neptune man, 34, for driving while intoxicated. He was released in accordance with John’s Law.
  • Feb. 24: Patrolman Tyler Martin arrested a Howell woman, 40, for driving while intoxicated after a motor vehicle stop on Route 35. She was released in accordance with John’s Law.
  • Feb. 24: After a motor vehicle stop on Route 35, Patrolman Kevin Wagner arrested two men, one age 60, for possession of cocaine and possession of prescription drugs. They were released on a summons.
  • Feb. 25: After a motor vehicle stop on Brighton Avenue, Patrolman Ken Bala arrested a Wall resident, 29, and a Manasquan resident, 26, for possession of crack cocaine. They were released on a summons.
  • Feb. 25: After a motor vehicle stop on Highway 138 by Patrolman Tyler Martin, a Matawan woman, 32, was arrested for possession of suboxone and possession of alprazolam. She was released on a summons.
