Separate traffic stops lead to arrests of Wall man, Spring Lake man, Lakewood man

Wall police made several arrests on drunken driving and drug charges this week after traffic stops on township roads.
A Lakewood man was charged with marijuana and paraphernalia possession early Thursday. Police said Darrell L. Butler, 37, of Lakewood was stopped on Route 35 at 2:15 a.m. and found to be in possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana. Police also said a records check indicated Butler had "numerous" contempt of court warrants out of several jurisdictions.
Butler was charged and held in custody pending bail being set.
