3rd Annual Asbury Park Art Star Craft Bazaar

The Art Star Craft Bazaar is back again for its third year at Bradley Park in Asbury Park, NJ ~ Saturday, July 29 & Sunday, July 30.

The Art Star Craft Bazaar is back again for its third year at Bradley Park in Asbury Park, NJ. The two day outdoor retail art/craft show will take place on Saturday, July 29th, 10-7 pm and Sunday, July 30th, 10-4pm. Rain or shine. Free to attend.

The Art Star Craft Bazaar is an award winning outdoor retail art/craft show that is organized and juried by Art Star, Philadelphia’s leading purveyors of quality handmade goods. The show has been held in Philadelphia for the past 14 years and has been named Best of Philly by Philadelphia Magazine in 2010 + 2012. The show has become a beloved shopping tradition to Philadelphians and attracts 10-15k visitors annually.

The Art Star Craft Bazaar made its debut in Asbury Park in the summer of 2015 and due to the continued growth of the show, we will be back for our 3rd year! We will be hosting the show again in Bradley Park, which is situated directly across the street from the Asbury Park Boardwalk and Convention Hall in the midst of Asbury’s prime summer season! Joining us this same weekend will be the 8th Annual Visionary Tattoo Arts Festival, which will be held across the street from our event in the Convention Hall.

We are excited to be partnering with local non-profit and soon to be open Tea House + Cat Lounge, Catsbury Park who will be bringing adorable, adoptable kitties and who will be selling merchandise to benefit their organization.

From Catsbury Park: We are a New Jersey 501(c) non-profit corporation with the goal of helping as many kittens and cats find loving homes through various channels. As many of you who followed us on social media might know, we started fostering out of our home in the summer of 2016 and were able to place 37 kittens with forever homes within our first 2 months. We also want to create a space where the public can learn about cats, interact with them, and potentially take them home. We still hope to continue fostering kittens but Catsbury Park Tea House & Cat Lounge itself will focus on adult cats who, while available for adoption, are residents of the cafe and interact with customers. We also feel that Asbury Park, our favorite place, needs a tea lounge and have focused on providing high-end tea service to provide the best experience for those who come to spend time with our cats!

Over 60 of the best makers from across the region (and beyond) will set up 10x10 shops to sell their wares in the park. Shoppers can expect high quality handmade goods that reflect Art Star’s unique and quirky aesthetic. Erin Waxman and Megan Brewster of Art Star have hand selected a diverse collection of artists that create anything + everything, including housewares, paper goods, jewelry, prints, ceramics, clothing, accessories, paintings/drawings, sculpture, and many other one-of-a-kind curiosities. All items have been handmade from a variety of mediums that include fabric, clay, glass, wood, paper and much more. The show will also include artists who will be selling select works (t-shirts, prints, cards, etc) that have been reproduced in small batches, if not locally, within the US. The Art Star Craft Bazaar aims to offer something for everyone (women, men, kids, moms, babies, teens, etc) at a range of prices to accommodate all budgets.

The event will also include food by Oink and Moo Barbeque; shaved iced, bubble teas and fresh smoothies by Cha Yen; Johnny’s Porkroll & Coffee Truck; Glass Mosaic Making with Hot Sand; Photobooth fun with Pop Up Polaroid; Live Music by Local Bands throughout the weekend; and more TBA.

While visiting our bazaar, we encourage guests to explore all that Asbury Park has to offer. There is a variety of great independent shops and restaurants along the boardwalk, as well as a thriving shopping district along Cookman Avenue and connecting side streets.
