Hit-And-Run Driver Sought By Wall Township Police

Wall Police are seeking the public's assistance after they said a vehicle struck a lawn mower on Monday, ejecting the operator.

WALL, NJ — Wall Police are seeking the public’s assistance after a hit-and-run occurred on Monday morning.

At 10:58 a.m. on Monday, police said a vehicle was traveling west on Ocean Road when it struck a commercial lawnmower, ejecting the operator. The vehicle then fled west toward Samuel Drive without stopping.

As a result of the crash, police said the operator of the lawnmower sustained injuries.

Anyone who can identify the vehicle involved in this incident and/or the vehicle’s driver is asked to contact Patrolman McKay at 732-449-4500 x 1178.

For residents in the area, Wall Police are requesting that anyone who may have home surveillance footage that could assist in this investigation, please forward it to surveillance@wallpolice.org.
