Home Security Footage Leads To Arrest In Wall Car Burglaries
A North Haledon man is charged in connection with car burglaries in May, following an investigation by Wall police.
WALL, NJ — An investigation of car burglaries early in May has led to the arrest of a suspect from North Haledon, Wall police said Tuesday.
With the help of the public's providing residential security camera footage, investigators were able to identify a suspect, police said.
Douglas Samuels, 59, North Haledon, has been arrested in connection with the burglaries, following an investigation by Patrolman Connor Capenegro and Detective Ty Hughes, police said.

Samuels was arrested on Aug. 6 in Manchester. He was transported to the Monmouth County Correctional Facility in Freehold in default of bail, according to police.
The Wall Township Police Department investigated several reports of burglaries to motor vehicles in early May in the area of Randolph Way.
