“I am very proud to have been selected by the voters in New Jersey’s 30th Legislative District for another term in the General Assembly. I will continue to fight for my constituents in an effort to make New Jersey an even better place to live and work," assemblyman Sean Kean said in a statement.

Going forward, he said the state should be more affordable for everyone, including recent college graduates looking for jobs, young families raising children and retirees who want to stay in New Jersey.

"In addition, I will aid the efforts of law enforcement agencies that make our communities safer and will provide support to our hardworking police officers," he said. "I will continue to point out the negative consequences of the Democrats’ affordable housing mandates which devastate our environment by creating sprawl, eliminate open spaces and cause excess pollution."

The 30th Legislative District consists of the following municipalities: Avon-by-the-Sea, Belmar, Bradley Beach, Brielle, Farmingdale, Howell Township, Lake Como, Manasquan, Sea Girt, Spring Lake, Spring Lake Heights, and Wall Township in Monmouth County and Lakewood Township and Point Pleasant in Ocean County.

Some mail-in votes will still have to be counted and the county clerks will have to certify the results before they are official.
