This is far from the first time Wall Police have helped rescue an animal trapped in a storm drain.
Earlier this month, police also helped rescue a resident’s dog who slipped out of her collar during a walk and fell in a storm drain.
To rescue the dog, police used a lockout tool to reach down and hook her collar before pulling her to safety.
