We asked Patch readers what they thought the biggest safety issues were in their town. Here’s a list of the most pressing problems, from break-ins to traffic jams:
- "Speeding in residential neighborhoods! When I'm at the bus stop with my daughter it amazes me how fast cars drive down Village Road. There are no side walks and many children live on the street. Slow down people!!"
- "Drugs! Big safety issue."
- "The intersection of Ramshorn and Atlantic Avenue in Allenwood."
- " Speeding on Monmouth Blvd."
- "Speeding on Belmar Blvd-particularly towards the parkway entrance."
- "The ramp getting off 34 onto 195 West."
- "The roads need maintenance and fresh painted lines."
- "Belmar Blvd. - no sidewalks very scary."
- "Speed limit should be lowered on Tiltons, especially when you have many pedestrians and children riding bikes (and no sidewalks)."
- "There should be a light getting out of Whole Foods by the Wendy's."
