2 Water Main Breaks In Warren, Green Brook

NJ American Water sent out alerts about the water main breaks on Monday morning.

WARREN/GREEN BROOK, NJ — Two water main breaks have been reported in Warren and Green Brook on Monday.

Warren

New Jersey American Water crews are making emergency repairs due to a main break beginning at 8 a.m. in Warren.

Residents in the affected area (see photo below) and may experience discolored or cloudy water, low water pressure, or no water.

Repairs are expected to take about 1 hour to complete.

At this time residents are under a Boil Water Advisory. Any water to be used for drinking or cooking should be brought to a rolling boil for 1 minute. Water is OK for bathing, washing, and other common uses.

Green Brook

New Jersey American Water crews are making emergency repairs due to a main break beginning at 8 a.m. in Green Brook.

Green Brook Police is asking drivers to avoid the north side of King George Road due to the water main break near King George Road and King Court.


Residents in the affected area (see photo below) and may experience discolored or cloudy water, low water pressure, or no water.

Repairs are expected to take about 1 hour to complete.
