$7,000 Scam, DUI Arrest And Crash Reported In Warren
Warren Township Police released the blotter including events from the past weekend.
WARREN, NJ — Bad checks, a $7,000 phone scam, and a DUI arrest and crash were reported in the township over the weekend.
On Friday, Feb. 17 at 1:27 p.m.: A resident of Dead River Road reported an incident of bad checks. The victim received three bad checks from a customer. Unknown total at this time.
On Sunday, Feb. 19 at 12:03 p.m.: A resident of Carriage Court reported a theft by deception via a phone scam with a monetary loss of $7,000.

On Monday, Feb. 20 at 8:31 p.m.: Andrew Perez, 31, of Warren was arrested for driving under the influence following a single motor vehicle crash on Mt. Bethel Road near Reinman Road on the northbound side. Perez was also issued summonses for driving under the influence, failure to stop, failure to keep right, careless driving, reckless driving, and failure to report an accident. No injuries were reported and the on-call duty removed the vehicle.
