A New Twist on Joint Business Planning

After moving locations, Hapkido studio owner finds opportunity for his wife.

When The Hapkido Center owner Chong Me Lee moved his longstanding business from 41 Mountain Boulevard to a new location on Washington Valley Road Annex in April, he noticed an added opportunity: a 1,200 square foot storefront ready to lease.

Perfect for his wife, Sue, to open a dry cleaners. Last week, the couple opened Warren Valley Cleaners, at 165 Washington Valley Road—next door to The Hapkido Center.

"This is perfect for us,"  Sue Lee said of the side-by-side businesses.

Master Lee noted several advantages to his new location—convenience to traffic on Mt. Bethel Road and Mountain Boulevard, good neighbors like Sports Minded Unlimited and Doelger's Coin Shop—and the nearby Warrenbrook Golf Course, which he can take advantage of between classes (and when his wife doesn't mind).

As part of the grand opening for Warren Valley Cleaners, customers can enjoy a 30 percent sale on cleaning this week.
