Camp to Teach How to Play Softball Like a Warrior

Watchung Hills Regional head softball coach Mike D’Alessandro along with his daughter Kristen will be leading fastpitch fundamentals clinics for young players at this summer's Warrior Softball Camp.

The camps will run Monday through Thursday for two consecutive weeks beginning July 8—15. The morning session each week will be for girls entering grades 2 – 5 while the afternoons will be for girls entering grades 6 - 9. Friday of each week will be reserved as a rain date.

Per the Warrior Softball Camp website, “this all around skills camp teaches the fundamentals of fastpitch softball in an enjoyable setting. The camp focuses on hitting fundamentals, throwing mechanics, base running techniques, infield and outfield play and small ball strategies.”

The camp will be held at the Watchung Hills Regional High School softball complex located on Mountain Avenue in Warren. Sign up early as space is limited.
