Hit-And-Run Crashes, Identity Theft, DUI Arrest Reported In Warren
A Warren resident reported being defrauded out of $1,500 over a sale of a refrigerator via Facebook, according to police.
WARREN, NJ — Warren Police released the latest police blotter for the past week.
Warre Police Blotter:
On Jan. 31 at 8:58 p.m.: A hit-and-run motor vehicle accident was reported on Mt. Horeb Road. A driver hit some landscaping equipment parked in the roadway and fled.

On Jan. 31 at 11:41 a.m.: A resident of Geiger Lane reported an incident of identity theft. Someone used the victim's information to open a fraudulent AT&T account.
On Jan. 30 at 2:57 p.m.: A hit-and-run motor vehicle accident on Mountain Avenue near Sawmill Road. The vehicle left on scene was towed.

On Jan. 29 at 7:01 p.m.: Following a motor vehicle stop, a 33-year-old North Plainfield man was arrested for DUI and taken to headquarters for processing. Summonses issued for DUI, refusal to submit to a breath test, reckless driving, careless driving, and failure to keep right.
On Jan. 27 at 1:45 p.m.: A resident of Roseland Avenue reported a theft by deception. Police reported the resident was defrauded out of $1,500 over a sale of a refrigerator via Facebook.
