McKenna Vanderbeek Graduates with Honors at Providence College

One of five Warren students receiving diplomas in May commencements.

McKenna Vanderbeek was among over 900 students from Providence College who received undergraduate degrees during the College's 95th Commencement Exercises held on May 19. Vanderbeek graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor's degree in Management.

Sean R. Foley was among more than 370 students to graduate from Lebanon Valley College, Annville, Pa., May 11. Commencement ceremonies, held in the LVC Gymnasium, included an address by Dr. Philip Benesch, associate professor of political science and winner of the 2012 Thomas Rhys Vickroy Award for teaching.

Patricia S. Caro of Warren was among the record number of graduates who earned degrees from The University of Scranton at commencement ceremonies held Memorial Day weekend. Graduates included recipients of some of the nation's most prestigious scholarships, including the Truman Scholarship, Goldwater Scholarship and five Fulbright scholarships.

Caro was among the more than 900 bachelor's and associate degree recipients conferred at the Jesuit university's undergraduate commencement on May 26 at the Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza in Wilkes-Barre.

Caro earned a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from Scranton.

Dana Ashley Schoenbach graduated from Clemson University May 10, with a Bachelor of Science in Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management (Community Recreation, Sport and Camp Management).

Schoenbach was among 3,053 students who received degrees at three commencement ceremonies at Littlejohn Coliseum.
