What does the nominee do for work?:
She is a home visiting nurse

Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
She has taken on extra hours and patients to allow others to work in emergency rooms. Many of her patients have COVID-19 and she is their only contact with medical professionals. She has a positive attitude and gives her patients a positive connection point to both medical staffs as well as providing human contact for many in our community who don't have such contact. She gives loving care to many Hospice patients preparing to die. Her enthusiasm spreads to not only her patients but to all in her life.

What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?:
"She is positive beacon of hope to those near the end of their lives," said Jim.

"She has tackled her daily job with poise and grace, with compassion and wisdom. She is an excellent caregiver, sister, wife, and mother. A super nurse!!!" said Amy.

"One of the nicest person you will ever meet," said Raphael.

Thank you for all you do, Abigail!
