Warren Detective Honored By State Police For Vehicle Theft Probe: NJSP

A Warren Township police official was recently honored by New Jersey State Police for his work investigating vehicle thefts around the state

WARREN, NJ - A Warren Township police official was recently honored by New Jersey State Police for his work investigating vehicle thefts in the Garden State.

On Dec. 19, 2022, Warren Township Police Department Detective Robert Dinsmore was recognized with the Anthony M. Kane Achievement Award for his work in the New Jersey State Police Auto Theft Task Force.

Dinsmore and his entire unit received a Division Award for “Operation Night Stalker” which resulted in several arrests, approximately $1,000,000 in recovered stolen vehicles, as well as narcotics and cash seizures totaling approximately $150,000, state police officials said.

“Congratulations to Det. Dinsmore for his exceptional efforts and dedication,” New Jersey State Police said in a statement.
