Artist Needed for Dunellen's Newest Mural
Dunellen's newest mural will be focused on first responders and local veteran's organizations. Proposals can be submitted until March 1.
CALLING ALL ARTISTS!
The Dunellen Arts and Culture Commission is looking for local artists to participate in a community mural project.
The subject of the mural will be First responders (fire department, police department, OEM, rescue squad), the American Legion and VFW. The mural will be done in 8 boards, each board will be 8' x 8' in size, and hung under the Prospect Avenue RR underpass, near the Dunellen town hall and police station.

Applicants should submit their sketch for the mural boards, as well as a statement/bio or resume to the Dunellen Arts and Culture Commission by March 1, 2024. Please scan and send to:

The artist selected will be asked to sketch the boards, recommend colors, and help in this community mural project. The artist will receive payment for the sketch that is selected. Work will take place between April and October 2024. Mural experience is not required.

La Comisión de Arte y Cultura de Dunellen está buscando artistas locales para participar en un proyecto de mural comunitario.
El tema del mural serán los socorristas (departamento de bomberos, departamento de policía, OEM, escuadrón de rescate), la Legión Americana y VFW. El mural se hará en 8 tablas, cada tabla tendrá un tamaño de 8' x 8', y planeamos colgar el mural debajo del paso subterráneo de Prospect Avenue RR, cerca del ayuntamiento y la estación de policía de Dunellen.
Los solicitantes deben enviar su boceto para los tableros murales, así como una declaración/biografía o currículum vitae a la Comisión de Arte y Cultura de Dunellen antes del 1 de marzo de 2024. Por favor, escanee y envíe a:

Al artista seleccionado se le pedirá que dibuje los tableros, recomiende colores y ayude en este proyecto de mural comunitario. El artista recibirá el pago por el boceto seleccionado. Los trabajos se llevarán a cabo entre abril y octubre de 2024. No se requiere experiencia en murales.
