Convicted Watchung Burglar Denied New Trial
Police had found the Bergen County man walking along Interstate 78 following the November 2010 incident.

A Bergen County man convicted in November of a 2010 Watchung break-in was denied a request on Monday for a new trial by Superior Court Judge Robert Reed.
The attorney for Jullian Oree, 33, of Teaneck, argued that there was a lack of evidence placing Oree at the scene of the Nov. 23, 2010 Shady Brook Court burglary, reported NJ.com.
Watchung Police found Oree walking along Interstate 78 shortly after a vehicle fled the burglary scene and engaged in a high speed chase with police before crashing at the Watchung Reservation.
"That was probably the thing which sealed his fate," NJ.com reported Reed said when upholding the jury's decision.
