Grimaldi's Opening In Green Brook — But When?
Pizzeria to replace former Charlie Brown's Restaurant.

Arizona-based Grimaldi's Pizzaria is planning to open a store in Green Brook, but company officials haven't responded to requests for information on when.
The company has 32 locations, mostly in the Southwest, and is famous for its Brooklyn-style pizza, cooked in coal-fired ovens.
Township officials said work inside the former Charlie Brown's Restaurant, on Route 22, to convert it to a Grimaldi's has been underway for some time.
But messages left with the company headquarters and the general contractor working at the site seeking any additional information have not been answered.
We'll keep trying to find out when the location will open — and possibly, why a coal-fired oven makes for a tasty pizza.
