Lunch for Lahaina Raises Funds for Seniors of Maui

Brandywine Living at Mountain Ridge hosted a fundraiser luncheon for Lahaina


Watchung, NJ — Brandywine Living at Mountain Ridge hosted a fundraiser luncheon for Lahaina, Maui on Friday October 27, in support of the seniors affected by fires that devastated their island on August 8th.

Attendees enjoyed an afternoon of delicious Hawaiian inspired cuisine with the option to grab it to go. Residents of the senior living community hand-crafted Hawaiian themed artwork that was available for purchase. Additionally, chances to win themed raffle baskets helped raise needed funds.

All donations will benefit Na Hoaloha, a non-profit organization that provides services to seniors in Maui. Since the devastating wildfires, there has been an increased need to assist displaced older adults.

The luncheon was open to the public for a $10 donation to Na Hoaloha accepted in cash or check. Residents, their loved ones and team members looked forward to the event while showing community support. Over 600.00 dollars was raised for this important cause.
