Shopping for School Supplies on the Cheap

There's still more than a month left to summer vacation, but for some busy parents, it's not too early to begin gathering school supplies.

We'll be out price shopping school supply lists to find where the best bargains are—as well as here the supplies are (some things can be tough to find!). Our features on school supplies starts today with a list for third-graders, but we'll also be checking on middle school supplies and high school essentials.

In the meantime, enjoy the day—the forecast calls for another spectacularly beautiful sunny day, with a high in the low 80s. It will be a great day for a long drive with the windows open—but avoid Hillcrest Road between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. (the road will be closed for tree cutting).
