Hoping to draw more participants, while also providing a service for Watchung and Green Brook residents, Warren Township is opening enrollment for its recreation programs to residents of the other towns.
The township last allowed Green Brook and Watchung residents to participate in its programs was about three years ago, according to Warren Township Recreation Director Eleanora Hermann.
"Each town has agreed to allow the other town residents to register for their programs at no extra cost," Hermann said. "This will include trips, camps and events that do not fill with (local) residents."
