WATCHUNG, NJ – Mayor Keith S. Balla announced today he will not seek re-election to a second, four-year term this fall.
“I am stepping away from municipal government to devote more time to my family, my business and my church,” said Balla, a Democrat and mayor here since 2019.
For the nine remaining months of his term, Balla pledges to “continue to actively do what is best and most cost-effective for the people and families of Watchung. My commitment to my community is important to me.”
