What they are saying: Very satisfied with our experience. Place is nice, not overly elegant. Located on a lake, but we were dining at night, so we did not take advantage of the view. Our server was courteous and very helpful, always keeping us attended. We split a pasta entree as an appetizer, then ordered fish for our main course. I had the halibut and my girlfriend had salmon. Both entrees were cooked to perfection and had nice piece of fish and accompanying sides. Sadly, we did not indulge in their wine menu, having just one glass each. Dessert is also on the menu. Good luck if you have room for it! We look forward to dining here again.

What they are saying: Call me crazy but there's nothing better than a steamy bowl of ramen on a cold winter night. Unfortunately, this wasn't an option in this area for a while until now. Wasu is the perfect establishment to come to have a low key, casual dinner or lunch for either sushi or a bowl of ramen at FANTASTIC reasonable prices.We started off with an appetizer of veggie Kyoza and they offered us a ginger salad and sushi appetizer on top of that!As the entree, we moved onto a veggie ramen and pork ramen ... both AMAZING!The service was great and I cannot think of a single con as to what would make me not want Wasu. Highly recommend for this new establishment in town. Don't hesitate -- GO!

The collard greens .. amazing! I mean the name suits you guys PERFECT. The owners son was so kind and respectful! The gentleman who took our order was very kind as well. I can't wait to go back. The mac and cheese tasted so yummy! The chicken well cooked and the BBQ sauce was very tasty. The cornbread! Super moist and so fresh. Everything tasted so fresh! Good job guys! I will DEFINITELY be coming back! Two VERY happy customers over here!Now my husband had the fried whiting he said THE BEST HE HAS EVER HAD! Super tasty, yummy & crunchy. He had candied yams & mac and cheese. All you heard at our table was "hmm hmm ooh oh man yes yummy hmm" lol. He said even the hot sauce and tarter sauce tasted fresh!

What they are saying: This place has been a bookmark of mine for a while now and I'm really glad my boyfriend and I finally went! A dimly lit and intimate restaurant, Uproot had a very cozy feel to it (though I was able to use my phones flashlight feature - yeah it's that dim). Their menu features a farm to table concept which is always a plus and is broken into small plates, plates for the table, pizzas, seasonal specials and then entrees. We really appreciated the way the menu is structured as this allowed us to order a few items and share them rather than commit to two entrees. We went with the beet and goat cheese salad, a butternut squash pizza and mussels. I really enjoyed the pizza but my only recommendation would be to purée the butternut squash and use it as a sauce rather than just add cubes to the pizza as it could be dry in some sections and I really didn't get the full butternut squash flavor. Our mussels were in a delicious sauce and there were plenty of them! Highly recommend getting them to share. As for the beets and goat cheese - you can never go wrong which such great items. All in all we had a great time here with attentive service and enjoyed all the items we ordered. We will definitely return again!!

Yup, it's as delectable as it sounds and well worth an out-of-the-way trip. Doesn't hurt that it's accompanied by the creme de la creme of biscuits. Perfectly buttery, light, and fluffy on the inside with a golden brown crust on the outside. An impeccable duo that's become a serious guilty pleasure of mine. You'll find plenty of other southern staples on the menu. One particularly deserves an honorable mention - the frickin' fried green tomatoes. Juicy, local, green tomatoes coated in a deliciously well-seasoned batter, fried to perfection, and served with a killer sauce. It's to die for. Get 'em. It's down home southern cooking at its finest. All fresh and made to order of course. R&B and soul tunes keep the atmosphere chill and laid back, matching the service 4 Brothers provide.Food this delicious does not go unnoticed. 4 Brothers is poppin' during prime time brunch and lunch hours, something to keep in mind if you're taking my suggestion of paying them a visit. Make a res! It's a small, cozy joint that could use some extra tables to handle the influx of folks always eager to get a taste of the south. Myself included.

What they are saying: This place has stolen my heart. I wish I lived in the area still to try all of the different combinations I could make. I've came here a long time ago when I was looking for a salmon burger spot. This place came thru for me. Ordered that with sweet potato fries. Salmon was nice and juicy and the bread was fresh. Fries were ok. Came back with my parents and had a cheeseburger. Got it topped with American cheese, mushrooms, avocado, and crispy onions. Mouth watering. I felt like Guy in Triple D on the food network trying to bite into huge burgers. Tried to use his technique to get all of the toppings and the burger in one bite. Success, it is possible. I literally sank in my chair and said wow this is sooooo what I needed. The meat was cooked perfectly. Ok I say perfectly a lot I realized but this time oh man perfect beyond perfect. I couldn't stop eating the onion rings with the sauce it comes with. Need to come back. Wish there was one in my area.

Their outdoor area features a beautiful patio with a large bar, lots of seating, lush greenery, a fireplace, outdoor TV, and fire pit with complementary s'mores, among other things.The food is generally fresh and the cocktails are creative, with a new menu for each season. During the warmer months they have live music outdoors and the hilly views in the neighboring area are beautiful. I go here simply for the way that this place makes me feel!
