3 Hurt As Snowplow Falls Through NJ Highway, Lands On Truck: Cops
Breaking: The Bobcat fell through the bottom of an overpass on Route 208 and landed on top of a utility truck, police said.

PASSAIC COUNTY, NJ — Three people were hospitalized after a small snowplow fell through the floor of a footbridge and onto a truck on Route 208 in Hawthorne, police said.
The utility truck was traveling northbound on Route 208 when it was hit by the snowplow. The vehicle landed on the roof of the cab, said Capt. Jeffrey Vanderhook.
The incident happened at 11:03 a.m. when police received a report of a motor vehicle crash on Route 208 northbound just south of the Goffle Road exit, said Capt. Jeffrey Vanderhook.

Three people were injured and taken to local hospitals, the captain said. The identities of the victims and the driver of the Bobcat were not released.
Part of northbound Route 208 and at least one southbound lane are closed while the footbridge is repaired, the New Jersey Department of Transportation said in a press release.

The foot bridge is closed until further notice, Vanderhook said.
The hole "was big enough for a Bobcat to fall through," Vanderhook said.
The New Jersey Department of Transportation, State Police, Passaic County Prosecutor's Office, and Hawthorne Police Department are investigating the accident.
