ALDI Set To Open Brand New Location In Wayne

ALDI, a German discount supermarket chain, will open a brand-new location on Hamburg Turnpike.

WAYNE, NJ — ALDI, a German discount supermarket chain, will be opening a brand-new supermarket on Hamburg Turnpike in Wayne.

According to Regency Centers Corp., the real estate company that owns Plaza Square Shopping Center, the new supermarket will now anchor the shopping center, taking up 42,816 square feet.

ALDI will be taking over the former location of ShopRite, which closed down in 2021.

The Plaza Square Shopping Center is located at 625 Hamburg Turnpike. Other tenants include T-Mobile, Wendy's, Together Nail & Spa, Hand and Stone Massage and Facial, Kessler Physical Therapy and Music & Arts.

No other information was immediately provided by ALDI about the Wayne location.
