Authorities Seek Public's Help With Route 46 Shooting

The shooting happened between noon and 12:30 p.m. on Route 46 West, authorities said.

WAYNE, NJ — Authorities are asking the public for help regarding a shooting that took place on Route 46 Monday.

The shooting occurred between noon and 12:30 p.m. on Route 46 between the junction of routes 20 and 21 in Clifton, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia Valdes said in a news release.

Several shots were fired from one vehicle to another, Valdes said. No one was injured.

The Passaic County Prosecutor's Office asks anyone with information about the shooting to contact their tips line at 1-877-370-PCPO or at tips@passaiccountynj.org.
