Generous Contributions Fuel 2025 Staff Appreciation Fund at Cedar Crest

Residents thank dedicated employees by contributing $292,929

(Cedar Crest)

Cedar Crest, the Erickson Senior Living community in Pompton Plains, NJ, distributed $292,929 to 833 eligible hourly team members through its 2025 Staff Appreciation Fund (SAF).

The SAF, made possible through contributions from generous residents, was announced during a special Boardwalk Blizzard-themed staff appreciation event on December 3. At the festive celebration, team members enjoyed snacks, games, photo opportunities, and had the chance to thank residents in person. The gifts express residents’ gratitude for the exceptional services team members provide throughout the year to support an engaging, worry-free lifestyle.

“Our residents’ generosity truly reflects the spirit of the season,” says Executive Director Kristen Compton. “Residents’ support of the Staff Appreciation Fund shows the strong community we’ve built together. Our team’s dedication and warmth make Cedar Crest an outstanding place to live and work.”
