Habit Burger, Panera, Ulta Beauty Coming To New Wayne Center

WAYNE, NJ – Construction is underway of a new shopping center in Wayne that'll feature Panera Bread and The Habit Burger Grill.

The Parke At Hamburg, which will be built upon a 7-acre tract on the westbound side of Hamburg Turnpike, will also include Everbook Academy, Ulta Beauty, Sport Clips and The Paper Store.

The new 3-building development, which was approved by the township planning board in February, will be located next to the Hibachi Grill and near the former Wayne Hills Mall property.

Its developer, Wayne-based March Associates Construction, Inc., held a groundbreaking ceremony Friday at the site to officially mark the project's start.

In an announcement afterward March said, "It was an honor to meet and celebrate this event with all of the tenants and township officials."

In a Facebook post, Wayne Mayor Chris Vergano said he was happy to attend Friday's festivities and is "looking forward to welcoming these new businesses to Hamburg Turnpike."

The stores are expected to open in June 2020, northjersey.com reported.

An anchor tenant has not yet been announced, but according to the property’s leasing specialists, RJ Brunelli, a 13,500-square foot space will be occupied by “the nation’s most desirable specialty food market.”
