Man In Fatal Wayne DWI Crash Doesn't Remember It: Report
Jason Vanderee, 29, is accused of slamming into a gas station while intoxicated and killing 3 people, including a father and son.

WAYNE, NJ — The man accused of killing three people after slamming into a township gas station Tuesday while driving intoxicated on drugs does not remember the crash, according to NJ.com.
Jason Vanderee, 29, of Glenwood, in Vernon, was charged with three counts of aggravated manslaughter, death by auto, and death by auto while driving intoxicated within 1,000 feet of school property.
Vanderee's attorney, John Latoracca told NJ.com that he did not remember the crash at the Delta gas station on Route 23 North.

A judge ordered that Vanderee will remain in jail on the charges filed against him pending a trial, according to a report by News12.
Latoracca said in the NJ.com report that his client "feels an overwhelming weight of responsibility for the deaths."

Vanderee was driving intoxicated on opioids when the crash occurred, authorities previously said. He was administered Narcan to revive him. Narcan is the brand name of the drug naloxone, which police and emergency responders use to revive someone experiencing an opioid overdose.
Vanderee had nine glassine bags of heroin on him, along with several empty ones; authorities found a used hypodermic needle on the floor of his vehicle, a police affidavit for the crash states.
Vanderee's vehicle was going "at an excessive rate of speed," went airborne as it crashed into a vehicle, and went over another one at the Delta gas station on Route 23 North just after 8:45 a.m. Tuesday, authorities said.
While airborne, the vehicle also hit an air pump and sign at the gas station before stopping, authorities said.
Vanderee has a history of driving while intoxicated and being revived with Narcan, the police affidavit states.
He was convicted in November 2016 of driving while impaired and was administered Narcan to revive him, the police affidavit states.
Three people died in the crash: Jon Warbeck, 50, of Fair Lawn and his 17-year-old son, Luke, of Lincoln Park, and Lovedeep Fatra, 22, of Pequannock, who was an attendant at the gas station. The Warbecks were in a 2012 Chevrolet Camaro whose roof was ripped off in the crash, according to reports.
Jon and Luke Warbeck were inseparable and spent a lot of times outdoors together, their family said. Luke was a junior at Boonton High School. Their joint funeral was Sunday.
Lovedeep Fatra, 22, of Pequannock, who was an attendant at the gas station, also died in the crash.
Fatra, who was from India, was slated to quit his job at the gas station later this month to become a truck driver. A GoFundMe page was created this week to raise $100,000 to send back home to Fatra's family.
