New Shopping Center, Preschool, Coming To Wayne's Hamburg Tpk.
The development will be called The Parke at Hamburg.
WAYNE, NJ — A preschool, fast-food restaurant, and shopping center will be built on Hamburg Turnpike.
The Planning Board Monday approved plans for The Parke at Hamburg, which will be built on the westbound side of the highly-traveled roadway.
The development will be located next to the Hibachi Grill and near the former Wayne Hills Mall property.

The development will have three buildings: A 12,850-square-foot daycare and preschool facility, a 30,500-square-foot retail building with five tenants, and a 5,000-square-foot fast-food restaurant with a drive-thru lane.
The largest retail space is 13,500 square feet. The facility will have 335 parking spaces. Eighty-six trees will be felled, but more than 250 trees will replace them.
