NJ Driver Dies After Crashing Into Parked Cars Early Wednesday: Police

Police said the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

PATERSON, NJ — Police said a driver died after an early-morning collision Wednesday in Paterson.

The crash happened on East 33rd Street near Park Avenue, and police arrived to the scene at around 12:55 a.m. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene, police said in a statement.

Officials said the driver appears to have crashed into two parked cars, which got pushed into two other parked vehicles. Police are not identifying the driver yet, pending family notification.
