NJ Man Dies In New York Cheese Factory Accident: Police
The man was assigned to work at a mixing machine at the Icco Cheese Co. earlier this month.

A New Jersey man was killed after a recent accident at a cheese company, police reported.
Edwin Nunez, 41, of Paterson, was pronounced dead at the Icco Cheese Co. in Orangeburg, NY on Jan. 15, police there said in a news release.
Police were called to the business after workers found Nunez inside the machine, police said. Nunez was assigned to work at the machine, authorities said.

"He fell, or tripped or reached into the machine," said Orangeburg Police Detective Sgt. James Sullivan. "It is being investigated as an accident."
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration was notified and went to the scene to investigate.

Rockland County paramedics and sheriff's officers, the South Orangetown Ambulance Corps, and the Rockland County Medical Examiner also responded and assisted at the company.
Orangeburg, New York is about 40 minutes northeast of Paterson just over the New Jersey-New York border in Rockland County, New York.
Icco Cheese Co. makes cheeses, bread crumbs, batters, and mixes.
