Passaic County Man, 20, Killed After Falling Out Of Moving Jeep

Police have not released the identity of the victim yet.

PASSAIC COUNTY, NJ — A Haledon man was pronounced dead after West Milford police responded to a traffic incident on Tuesday evening, police said.

Police were responding to a “motor vehicle incident” and found that the victim, a 20-year-old passenger, had fallen out of a moving Jeep Wrangler traveling on Clinton Road in West Milford, according to authorities.

First responders attempted “life-saving measures” upon finding the victim, however, he was later pronounced dead, police said.

Authorities have not released the identities of the deceased or the driver of the Jeep, and it is not yet clear if other passengers were in the car.
