According to officials, the owner of the vehicle was told by bystanders that his car was being stolen, and he proceeded to jump on the car’s hood in an effort to stop the thieves. The carjackers waited for a traffic light to turn green before taking off, throwing the owner off the hood and onto the street.
After a three-month investigation, police identified the two teen suspects responsible for the carjacking, and the vehicle was recovered by authorities, officials said.
