Water Main Break On Ratzer Road Prompts Closure, Detour In Wayne

WAYNE, NJ — A water main break near John F. Kennedy Elementary School has closed a section of Ratzer Road, with Wayne Police saying traffic will be detoured.

Ratzer Road is closed at Greenrale Avenue, police said shortly after 1:30 p.m. on Thursday. There is a detour in place along Greenrale Ave.

Officials did not say when the water main break might be fixed, or how many homes and businesses might be affected. Residents can check all current traffic advisories in the township here.
