Wayne Detectives Arrest Man for Marijuana
The 44-year-old man was allegedly "smoking a pipe filled with suspected marijuana" in a work-style van.

Police arrested a 44-year-old man who they say was smoking marijuana in a van Tuesday afternoon.
Special Operations detectives “were conducting proactive surveillance in the downtown shopping mall district” Tuesday when they observed a man ”smoking a pipe filled with suspected marijuana” in a work-style van, Wayne Police Captain Laurence Martin said.
Michael Metcalf, 44, of South Amboy, was placed into custody, and detectives also found a “sandwich style baggie containing suspected marijuana.”

Metcalf was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia and was issued a motor vehicle summons for an obstructed and cracked windshield, according to Captain Martin.
