Wayne Dog, Cat Licensing Renewals Due by Jan. 31

A $5 late fee will be charged for each animal anytime after Jan. 3l.

Mayor Vergano would like to remind Wayne residents that 2015 dog and cat license renewals are due by Jan. 31.

If you did not receive the licensing reminder by e-mail, residents are asked to download the application form from www.waynetownship.com. Applications can either be mailed or renewed in person at the Wayne Health Department located at 475 Valley Road.

The office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and on Tuesday evenings until 7 p.m.

If your dog is spayed or neutered, proof is needed to obtain the reduced fee of $13.20. A license fee of $l6.20 is required if your dog has not been spayed or neutered.

License fee for cats is $8 for neutered/spayed and $15 for non-neutered/non-spayed. A $5 late fee will be charged for each animal anytime after Jan. 31. Copies of all certificates showing proof of rabies, spaying or neutering will be returned.

We are green! For the 2015 licensing year the Health Department will no longer be mailing dog/cat license renewals. We are asking residents to provide their e-mail address so reminder notices can be sent electronically.
