Wayne 'Healing Walks' Offer Solace To Those Mourning Loved Ones
These walks will take place twice a month at Laurelwood Arboretum, for those who have lost a loved one through addiction or substance abuse.

WAYNE, NJ — A Wayne resident will lead twice-monthly "Healing Walks" for those who have lost a loved one to addiction or substance abuse, as a way to find peace and healing in nature.
Irene Hodupski will guide the walks at Laurelwood Arboretum, sharing conversation with those who may be struggling with the death of a friend, family member, or other loved one.
This new opportunity for community connection and healing is also made possible through the Wayne Alliance for the Prevention of Substance Abuse, Wayne Township, and the state Governor's Council on Alcoholism and Drug Addiction (formerly the Governor's Council on Substance Use Disorder).
