Wayne PD Arrests 3 In Connection With Car Burglaries

Three Newark residents face charges after police say they broke into several cars in the area of Webster Drive.

WAYNE, NJ – Three arrests have been made in connection with several overnight car burglaries reported in Wayne over the past week, according to police.

Jamoure Langevine, 21, Shatuwan McCall, 18, and a 17-year-old male, were taken into custody and charged after police say three Newark residents broke into unlocked vehicles and a home in the area of Webster Drive.

Police continue to urge residents to make sure their cars are locked each night and to remove key fobs, as well as valuables, from vehicles.

Authorities said some of the stolen property has since been recovered and returned to its owners.
