“The Open House is always one of our most fun days of the season,” says WRC Board Member Al Bracco, “but as we’re celebrating 50 years in Wayne, we are pulling out all the stops to make this one extra special.”
The open house will take place at 170 Colfax Ave in Wayne NJ. The event is totally free to all participants with food and refreshments served. Parking will be available onsite for public use. Directions and further information about the club can be found at waynetennis.com.
WRC was founded in 1973 by a group of local tennis enthusiasts who purchased the land and constructed the courts that we still play on today. One of the founders still plays to this day! WRC is dedicated to promoting the sport of tennis and although a private club, offers numerous events & programs for non-members who want to learn to play – including hosting a group for several years that competed in the Special Olympics. WRC is very proud of our International ‘family.’ We have members that were born in 23 different countries! The club is located in Wayne, but members live in more than 50 towns in North Jersey.
