Winning $882K Jersey Cash 5 Jackpot Ticket Sold in Passaic County

One Passaic County ticket won the Jersey Cash 5 $882,518 jackpot for the Friday, Jan. 9 drawing.

The Passaic County ticket was purchased at Acme #7946, located at 467 Allwood Road in Clifton.

Executive Director Hedinger said the winning ticket was the only one sold for Friday’s drawing that matched all five numbers drawn. The winning numbers were: 09, 18, 25, 29 and 40.

“We are thrilled that the winning jackpot ticket was sold at Acme #7946,” said Hedinger. “For selling this ticket, the retailer will receive a bonus check for $2,000. Overnight, it has become one more ‘lucky location’ for the very fortunate lottery winner.”

Hedinger also noted that 6,731 other players won $175,717 in cash prizes in the Friday drawing.

For correctly picking four numbers, 173 players won cash prizes of $485 each, and for correctly matching three numbers, 6,558 players won $14 each.
