Fire Rips Through West Windsor Home Tuesday Night
No injuries were reported but residents had to make alternate temporary living arrangements as the home was deemed unsafe by authorities.
WEST WINDSOR, NJ — A fire blazed through a home on Tuesday night, but no one was injured, West Windsor police said.
The home was later deemed unsafe by the West Windsor Township Building Inspector and residents made alternate temporary living arrangements, authorities said.
On Tuesday at 10:16 p.m., patrol units were dispatched to a residence in Colonial Park on a report of an active fire.

On arrival, officer found smoke exiting the vents on the second floor of the home. All residents had evacuated the home by the time, police said.
Station 43, 44 and WWDFES began battling the blaze. Shortly afterward, East Windsor Fire Co. 42, Princeton Fire Department 60, and East Windsor Volunteer Rescue Squad 1 arrived on the scene.

The fire was put down within 15 minutes, authorities said.
According to the initial investigation, the fire was deemed not suspicious in nature and was considered accidental.
